A very busy diner place in the core of Richmond Hill. They have been in Richmond Hill over 60yrs!!
Service is great but a bit slow. They have one waitress at most of the time, but she knows what she is doing. Waitress and cook are friendly and provide the best service :-)
They have the best club sandwich (club house) in town. I'm not a big fan of club sandwich, but I can't stop myself to order it again and again. Mayo is a must with their club sandwich, just forget about any diet!!
Their home fries is also very good, too. I can order only their fries for my lunch.
Also love their other dishes, like grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, egg Benedict, etc.
Their decor is quite... hmm... retro?! However, their price is good, food is delicious, so don't worry about their decor. -

Classic diner style breakfast that was very busy on a Saturday morning. Service was a little slow due to the high volume. I got the classic breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. It was good!
Prices are decent for the type of food you are getting. I would venture back the next time I'm craving classic diner style breaky. -

What's your definition of a 'Greasy Spoon?' Well if you are pondering this mystifying question then look no further than 3 Coins- a true breakfast fixture in the downtown area of the "Hill," you get what you expect, a hearty breakfast at a reasonable cost, bottomless cups of Joe, all while seated at a throwback booth when times were simpler.
Arriving in the small entrance, one of the servers threw us a cursory glance and were then treated to a much gentler version quickly managing several tables in the back. Loud, bustling with millenials hungrily chow downing on 3 Egg scrambles, we placed our order and waited quite a bit while the poor line cooks tried to keep up.
The food is good, non pretentious fare 5hst fills you up at a reasonable cost. Compared to the $20 eggs Benedict at Hunter Landing a whole back, the smoked salmon bene is twice the size at half the price. Moreover, it was perfectly cooked and came with awesome breakfast potatoes. Forthe three of us, about $40 which included alsome turkey bacon on the side.
A middle of the road staple of Richmond Hill, good honest food in a dated environment. -Zuk -

Slow service but the food is worth the wait. The eggs benedict was so good!!! I think the price for pancakes is a little bit pricy (3 pancakes for $8) but the eggs benny was pretty fairly priced. Add ins are quite expensive honestly so the basic price is very worth it

Can you believe that after living in RH for over 20 yrs I have never been here??? Yes I am living a deprived life!
I was going to start by calling this place the original greasy spoon breakfast place in Richmond Hill BUT I can't because there is no grease! The over and easy eggs did not have a fine layer of grease on my plates and my tasty home fries did not any yummy oil coating the sides. What disappointment :)
Back to the drawing board! In the meantime, I will listen to music on my personal juke box at my booth while I enjoy my no grease breakfast with my coffee and non-burnt toast while I figure out how to write a review on this greasy spoon!
